Had baby a year ago.

She won't let me cook eggs anymore, claims smell makes her nauseous.
I told her it's psycho babble bullshite.

Is this real?

My wife had some changes in tastes after having kids. Food was the least of them…..

My wife was the same. But was with pork and sometimes beef. We didn’t eat pork for quite a while.

Hopefully, she will not hate the smell of hotwings like my wife did.

It was a long couple of years for her.

Yes, she was offended by everything pumpkin, as it seems the worst of her pregnancy sickness was during September/October. It faded after a couple of years.

Not as big of a deal as eggs though.

Wife was sensitive during pregnancy, not after.

My wife got very sensitive to a few smells, including crockpot meals during her first pregnancy. That was 5 years ago. Haven’t had a crockpot meal ever since then.

Yeah my wife had the same problem with pork in particular after our last baby. Drove me crazy because I am a sucker for pork.....especially smothered pork chops .

Mine also developed the bionic nose. She claimed she could smell things that were not even there, like mildew in the hall.

She said "Sumpin stinks" at least 10,000 times. I finally had to tell her that I would have to kill her if she said "Sumpin stinks" one more fricking time. I think of her occasionally, and that surprised look on her face, then bulging eyes...

BIL had to make coffee outdoors on the patio for a couple years.

Sis also had to have physical therapy after the birth as the stress and strain actually caused her to dislocate her left shoulder badly, almost required surgery.

Yes, it's real. It took 5 years before she could tolerate any kind of cologne.

You sound like a real carrying husband.

But yes it is real. Giving a birth to babies fricks their bodies up pretty good. They have aversions to things they never had aversions to. They even sometimes are allergic to things they were never allergic to. It’s pretty crazy what it does.
