Why couldnt a simple notification be sent out, everyone knows they are doing it.

No way it was planned. They’d never do a planned outage at 6:30 PM on a weekday

Hammond is fine, at least near downtown over to Airport Rd is. I was O'Reilly's on Hwy 190 east of the downtown area about 5 min ago and they mentioned that Ponchatoula and Folsom had lost power but didnt know why.
