Why Would Someone Ever Pay More $$$ For Name-Brand OTC Drugs?

NyQuil/DayQuil runs around $12, versus the generic version for $3.
Same active ingredients, same dosage.
I understand if there is a product of a higher quality, but when it comes to OTC medicine, why do people fork over the three times as much for the same product?
What gives, OT?

Because the generic companies are largely Saudi owned pill mills who rip off the hard work and intellectual capital of legit America pharmaceutical companies and I choose not to give my money to fund radical Islam.

So if I buy Walmart brand alleve or alka seltzer then the terrorists win?
Quite possibly the only thing worse than big pharma would be terrorists.

Brah. That's just disinformation from big pharma to keep you on the hook.

I'm not saying buying an occasional generic bottle will make them win. But it will increase their profits and well being and potentially cause them to lop off a few more clitorises in their giddiness.

I take Xanax.Generic is under $20.The cheapest I could find Name Brand is $195.
I doubt that Pharmacies even keep that particular Name Brand in stock.
You could probably grind a generic between your fingers.
From what I remember the Name Brand were solid as a rock.

How did we just jump from OTC to Xanax?
Let's discuss Livingston meth vs West Baton Riuge meth while we are at it.

Fine, don't read. Just remember the people whose existence you fund are the very people who shot up you and your boyfriends night club.

Yes. You need to go. I'm not sure how many ducks they have right now but it is historically one of the better duck clubs in the state. True flooded timber smash hole.

Regardless of where they are made, generic drugs are an important part of getting affordable medicines to people that need them. If there were no generics, that DayQuil would cost $50 an ounce.

Almost hard to tell whether you're more against terrorism or for big pharma...
You work for big pharma, don't you? There are a bunch of companies that make generic medicines, that are not terrorists...

Nice one. Immediately resort to calling someone gay. Well, I guess Monroe isn't exactly known for producing the finest minds the Pelican State has ever seen...

I don't work for big pharm man. Nor do I know where generic drugs are made. Could be Iowa for all I know. I just wanted to open up the discussion and alert people to the potential for inadvertently funding Isis.
