Or how about when they have dreams about you cheating and flip out about that?

Sound like a ex girlfriend of mine.

Sounds like your friend is going to be dealing with this for a while if not a divorce.

And therein lies the great American injustice.

Man marries woman. Man provides for woman and is faithful for woman. Woman cheats on man. Woman accuses man of cheating on her to justify her infidelity. Woman makes man's life a living hell.

Man divorces woman. Woman inherits 50% of mans earnings plus spousal support.

And women wonder why men are so against marriage.

Sums it up. Divorce is pay day for women today. Why work on yourself and your marriage when she can just get half his stuff and be a selfish woman?

This right here. It was the first thing my wife said about this scenario too.

I personally think marriages should be treated as contracts by the government. Draw up terms of dissolution of a marriage just like you'd dissolve a corporation. Has to be included in the contract before its signed.

If there were real consequences for both parties in a marriage, perhaps people would take them more seriously.

She's getting it on the side.

Two things about blaming him...
1. It sticks and she's off the hook.
2. Throws him off her trail.

The wife is the one cheating ...know from experience !
The accuser is usually the guilty one.

I think marriages should be the opposite. No government involvement. Married in the eyes of your church, period.

Yep, classic projection.

Isn't this essentially what a prenup is?

But they will be due to tax implications. So, take the religious implications out of the picture completely with the governments involvement.

This is all that concerns me with my marriage. Thats why I don't get my jimmies rustled if gays want to get married. Doesn't affect my marriage one bit.

Prenups are optional. I'm talking terms of dissolution of the marriage being a mandatory inclusion in the contract.

Call it a Contract for a partnership with a joint income tax condition.

If you aren't getting married in the biblical sense, thats really all it is in the eyes of the government, right?

I guess that's why they are wired wrong, their waterworks are leaky, and their playground is next to a sewer pipe and fills with blood once a month.
