Why isn't there dramatically more footage of UFO's due to smart phones?

Years ago, it would make sense that there wouldn't be many videos of UFO sightings due to not everyone carrying a video camera around. But these days are different.
Seemingly everyone has smart phones now with HD video cameras on them.
Not only would it make sense that there would be more sightings captured, but there should be many people capturing the same sightings from different angles. Not just a few people capturing the same sighting. But hundreds of people.
Are there any videos where hundreds of people captured the same UFO?

Because there should be more people capturing them now. And not just one random video. If it's in the sky to be seen by thousands of people, surely it would seem reasonable that there would be at least 50 different videos making their way around Snapchat and Instagram.

This thread came up a few months ago but from a conspiracy theorist linking to lots of people posting images/video of unidentified lights in the sky. Back in the day the information flow was an eyewitness with video might eventually turn up on a sensationalist newscast. A very one way flow of information. Today the information flow is 2 way and they're quickly debunked. If you posted a blurry picture of the Loch Ness monster you'd probably have someone zoom in and identify it as a common animal or point out the photoshopped pixels within an hour of it going viral.
That doesn't mean aliens or Nessie don't exist, it just suggests that observing them is a very rare phenomenon at best and most sightings over the years have been garbage.
I will also say that we've been hearing a lot about the US military working on cloaking technology the past 10-20 years. So maybe 70 years ago the ships that visited (that we saw) didn't have cloaking tech. Now they do and like everything high tech that comes out of the military, it's reverse engineered alien technology.
