Why do welfare people get tax returns???Posted by FLObserver on 1/19/12 at 1:11 pm
i see some of these people getting returns of like 6-8K or more when they haven't even worked for the year. Lets see everything is paid for by the gov and on top of that here's some extra cash for doing nothing last year
It's the new American way. Be a lazy ass, complain that the man is keeping you down while you collect 5 social security checks for 5 different kids under different names then expect the government to buy you a new big screen for the Superbowl.
A resident of Alaska with 2 kids, and little income can bring home 6-8k in tax credits, 4-5,000 in our annual permanent fund dividend program along with free or highly subsidized housing, energy assistance, food programs etc. If you are native, you get "indian money" on top of that. Some of the villages around here, unemployment is over 50% simply because no one needs to work to survive.

God Bless America, eh?
What we should really be PO'd about is not only that they get tax returns but that they actually get PAID for sitting at home & doing NOTHING. And not just sitting at home "in between" jobs nooooo....we're talking generationally sitting at home & doing nothing. Oh & "home", yeah that would be a subsidized home too.
