Let's set the record straight: dressing up like a dog is NOT a hobby of mine. Good lord.

Sad part is most barley riders who continuously blip their throttle do so because their bikes aren't tuned for shite.

Most would die trying to idle quietly at a red light.

I dont mind the noise. My only question is will the bike even start if you get on it without wearing a harley tshirt?

I don't really get the Harleys either. I had a Honda Shadow Sabre 1100. It's the same style bike (cruiser), but it doesn't make all that noise, it got better gas mileage, and had way less problems and was cheaper to have worked on than my friend's Harley...and the bike was a lot cheaper to start with.
The noise is stupid coming from some of these bikes. It's not just bikes down here, though, a lot of people with big trucks make them intentionally loud. Douchbags, all of them.

Loud motor cycles are like Ford F250s in that they help us identify who are incredibly insecure about either their age or the size of their genitalia.

You don't even have to talk to them. They are practically wearing a sign that says "mid life crisis" or "tiny junk".

I think Harley trademarked the noise. That potatopotatopotatopotato sound is not really replicated by any other makes.

Gonna sound like a bitch right here, but loud motorcycles scare the shite out of me all the time. They're so fricking loud. And when you aren't expecting it, they can be quite alarming.

I don't get mad every time they startle me, but they piss me the frick of sometimes. Almost started a similar thread just yesterday because one almost made me shite my pants. If you're in an enclosed area that echoes, those things are LOUD.

Visit the Maurepas area on a warm Saturday morning and this is what you'll learn:
Boats= young chicks, bikes= old chicks. Young single chicks in bikinis>Old married ckicks in leather.

This realization made me forget about a Harley and invest in a Yamaha.

Those are mostly people who've never grown up, IMV. Making loud noises to startle or annoy other people, yeah, sure... there's a real adult activity for you.

You're not going to do anything about it.
