The size difference here is just ridiculous and puts things in perspective. when will it end? When the full-size truck is the same size as a semi?

They'll continue to grow in size and price until people stop buying them.

they are literally building them so high now, that they come with tailgates that convert into ladder like steps just to access the beds

I'd rather have the little regular cab.

Because they have to fit the people who continue to get bigger and bigger.

You must have a small truck bro.

But in all honesty my '21 Sierra AT4 is damn near the same size as my buddy's '15 Denali HD

Everyone says that, then the new Maverick thing comes out and no one likes it.

The small truck in that picture is nowhere near a small truck in the 50’s

I had that model Tacoma. I drove it to the wheels literally fell off! First the drivers side, than a few months later the passenger. Luckily I was going very slow both times. I will never again say “drive it til the wheels fall off” again

the "big" one isn't really bigger. it's taller because it's lifted.

it looks bigger because they are making trucks smaller these days.
