Why do people buzz by a stopped bus while unloading kids?

Picking my daughter up and watching cars buzzing by and not stopping (with the stop sign and red lights. I actually got out of my car and stood in the lane to stop the cars. One was actually on his phone texting. Good gawd.

On a two lane road or a 4 lane road?
Sounds like a great way to get hit.
Your kid is never gonna make it if they can't learn to dodge traffic.

Yeah, that's very illegal. I might not always be a model citizen, but this is something that I don't frick around with. I don't need a dead child on my conscience

A lot of buses have cameras now to show that stuff to the popo. I don't think it would stand up in court but may scare someone if they showed up with a video of them "buzzing" by...

2 lane. Right in front of a school. Problem is, majority of Kentucky students in a damn hurry. I would rather get hit then a kid.

Don't know about where you live, but here it's illegal to overtake a school bus that has kids unloading or has the stop signs out.

WTF? a-hole, I would rather get hit standing in the road to stop a car then have a car hit a child because disphits do not pay attention and buzz by a stopped bus.
