Why are the technologically illiterate entitled to a job?

I'm talking about people who don't understand simple concepts like downloading files from a web browser and basic navigation to one's desktop in file explorer.
How many hours of productivity are lost because office workers can't be bothered to learn basic computer concepts?

Tons. I can't tell you how many times I've had to find a file for my boss because she tries to open EVERYTHING through word.

The abacus was used for a far greater time period than the calculator has been, chief.

I am sure too many. The worst thing I can hear is when someone says "well we never did it like that before". And although there is a "new" way that makes things more efficient, as soon as you try to show them the basic of basic shite, it's like they have a mental block and will not allow themselves to even learn it.

I can't even imagine how much time is lost. The amount of people in their 30s and 40s who can barely operate a computer is more shocking to me than the retirement age retards who never bothered to learn.

I work with a dolt who can't send an email without help. And seems to think that everyone in the world gets on the internet and sees the same page & the exact same stuff. The universal home page. "Hey, did you see that on the internet? Hey, let's post this on the internet."

Most of those people are only entitled to a job because they work for the government

Idk. But when I'm working with people in excel and they right click... I have to walk away and calm myself.
Same with people that don't use keyboard shortcuts in autocad
