replaced all my shitty shiny brass-over-plastic doorknobs throughout my house including outside doors with rubbed bronze and i had a huge box of these shitty half-broken doorknobs and i sold the whole box to an asian dude for $30.

I advertised on FB to sell a $1400 dirt bike in great condition. Guy calls and really wants it and asked for bottom dollar. I say $1300 becuase it is really priced at a deal price. We strike the verbal deal. Along the way he calls and asks if bottom dollar is any lower. I say no. He shows, with a trailer, looks at it, takes a few pics too, pauses a bit while scratching his chin, and says $800. I say to drive back home. He says $1000 max. I roll it into my garage as he stutters some more and I say have a nice drive home. I walk to his truck, take a pic of him and his tag and truck and wave goodbye. I bet he considers himself a wheeler dealer and had a potential buyer for my bike or perhaps is just a skinflint. Murrica!

I listed a BMW on craigslist for like 35% under the Blue Book Value because it needed some suspension work. This guy calls and the first thing I tell him is that the price is firm and I tell him exactly what's wrong with it. He looks at it, puts a deposit down and says he wants a mechanic to look at it. I agree, bring it to the mechanic he chose and the mechanic tells him exactly what I told him. We go to the TTL place and he give he like $1500 less than the price listed. I ask him where the rest of the money is and he says that he was only going to give me that much because he was backing out what the repair cost would be. I hand him the money, grab the keys and start walking. This fricker starts telling me he can write me a check for the difference.
