I hate the ones that feel like they need to make sure they say goodbye real loud if someone is leaving early just to make sure everyone sees that someone left early. Mind your own business if someone is leaving early.

Person who never makes the coffee but feels fine taking the last cup

Also, the person who fills their mug while the coffee is brewing because they're too good to wait

If you have to ask, it's probably you.

I don’t work in an office, but it still applies.

It’s the coworker that is always too cheery first thing in the morning.

We have a VP level lady that was around when some proprietary software was created and she believes that is how it still works. I used to have to attend meetings with her and I would have to correct her constantly that we have made changes but she was too stubborn to admit it, so I'd go test functionality and take her the results then she would go on about how why did we do this and a bunch of other meaningless questions.

For me, it's the coworkers that have a terrible attitude all day but are Disney greeters when the boss is around.

I used to work on the same floor as a department that turned this into a running joke. Every day around 4PM when people started leaving, you'd start hearing a cacophony of crap like "Bye Joanne! Have a safe trip home! Good work on that payables reconciliation! See you later, Joanne!" etc.

One day an old colleague who'd left to be a missionary or something came back to visit, and they fricking did it to her when she was done, but they threw stuff like "Have a nice life!" in there.

I realize this is probably a more female-dominant issue, but the one who thinks because you're nice to them at work that you want to hang out with them/become friends outside of work.

I've worked with some nice people. But a good majority of those people I don't want to see outside of work on purpose.
