Don't use UPS like my mother did once.

Whatever was in that box looked like an alien hatched out of a human chest by the time I got it.

they are all pretty damn expensive...I used to get them from Randazzo's and they shipped by fedex. they got there pretty quickly, but were always flung around pretty good during shipment.

It depends. If you just want a small one go with sucre. If you want large King cakes or are doing a party then go with gambinos. I think they do something like 6 King cakes for around 90.00 including shipping.
Sucre
Gambino's

I normally buy one from Randazzo and buy a box from them for $2 and run to the post office to get the ship.

Don't be that guy. Just order from Haydel's online. They ship all over the country daily. The cake is good and they put lots of mardi gras goodies in the box. It's an overnight shipment so the thing will be fresh.

Rouses is the cheapest. It's not as good as Haydel's or Randazzo's but still good.
