No I didn't...the majority of rap music doesn't describe any political controversy, political agenda, or economic situation.... some rap songs do... but not the majority of shite that comes out and is popularized today... Eminem does a good job, Dr. Dre did, so did Snoop and Ice Cube... even Mr. P had some interesting statements....
Now Rap just tells me the new dance craze... I don't need to know how to dougie, I don't wanna superman hoes with my jizz...etc If you are gonna rap, rap about something important... have a message, a statement... something for God's sake.

This isn't just about rap either.... country music is just a bunch of rednecks driving around with beer in a cooler trying to pick up girls in jeans to drive down to a creek and hook up with...

I know you think I'm old... but I was around when the idea of rap was born, saw it grow, and become what it is today.... rap doesn't use words i don't understand... My whole vocabulary is greater than the rap scene...
