777 or something. But he also thinks you are a raving alcoholic if you have a couple of drinks.

I took my dog for a walk 3 times this week.

I have a question for the workout bro. I've noticed several people at the gym working out in socks (no shoes). Usually they are doing squats, deadlifts, or cleans. What benefits are there to not wearing shoes?

I deadlift with no shoes

It reduces the distance the bar has to travel on dead lifts

I think squatting with no shoes is stupid though. Makes no difference unless your shoes are wacky.

Eeeehhhhh, squatting without shoes has its place, just like that minuscule amount of sole that makes your deadlift less difficult.

Without shoes, your feet are firm and planted. No squishy foam or air pockets to roll around on. Therefore more stable foundation and ability to drive through the heel.

decreases distance the bar needs to travel and can help you get in a little better position to start the pull.

would not recommend for squats, buy a pair of chuck taylor's or squat shoes
