It's fricked up that around here (NW AL) the only "fresh" crawfish you can buy are brought in from China instead of from LA.

Not fresh, but the whole bug that's uncooked and been frozen.

I don't buy them.

You would think that there would at least be some from closer than China. I guess it cheaper to have them farmed over by people making a $1/mo there and shipped here in huge container ships then to have them shipped in from LA.

Lots of people do. Both here and out of state. That's why in December and January I laugh at how many people don't understand the supply and demand problem and want to bitch about prices.
