The largest turnaround in Gulf South Region history is currently being worked at Shell/Motiva in Norco. Surely some OT'ers are working it...

I sold about 3,2 million worth of equipment for this turnaround.

But no, I don't turn wrenches

Turnaround is when the company will shut down a production or processing unit to allow for scheduled, large scale preventative maintenance to take place. Other tasks are added to the turnaround schedule and budget which can only be implemented when the unit is not operating.

I'd assume Turner, they have an alliance with Shell/Motiva

I would like to know that as well. I wasn't hearing that this one was all that big.
I kind of thought even the Phillips 66 Alliance refinery earlier this year would have been bigger.
That was a damn shite show. LOL

Willing to bet, the OP is incorrect on his statement about his little chemical plant T/A.

Motiva Convent is a big gasoline plant and it's a big t/a but I don't see how it's on the same scale as the biggest t/a ever in the gulf south region. Maybe technically in some way?
Anyway it IS big and I'm really grateful for it.

That and Sasol is going to keep everyone busy.
