I just keep a loose muscle shirt on. I just don't like having no shirt. Been that way since I was a toddler.

I use to do this in high school when I'd go to a water park. Blue Bayou is hot as f*&k in the summer. Wearing a shirt that stayed damp for more than 2 minutes after getting out of the water kept me nice and cool while waiting in line to go down the next slide.

I can say that, I was raised up in the CoC as a child. Oh and it is also truth.

I do. It start back in 2001 at a crawfish boil and swim party for Good Friday. My shoulders and neck got extremely burned and blistered. Could not wear a shirt or sleep lying down for two weeks. Never again will I swim without a shirt unless it's after dark or indoors.

I have some fluff to my body, but I have no problem swimming shirtless. To each, his own. I think it's more about your confidence level.

A t-shirt will cling to your fat and make you look fatter.

I am swimming in a lake twice a week during summer and will jump in with the shirt on for the AC effect once I come out. And if I can't jump in, I'll take the shirt off and dip it and my hat in the water for the same reason.

But, I also have psoriasis and honestly, the sun seems to help. I only get flare ups around this time of year after a winter of not being in the sun enough.

At least buy a rashguard so you can look like a wannabe surfer. I do not enjoy seeing portly dudes engaged in a one-man wet t shirt contest.

Skin cancer (not malignant), wear long sleeve surf shirt on or in the water. Oh, and skinny.

I usually don't, but here recently we went to the Bahamas, and I didn't want to get burned, so I ordered one of these Speedo UPF shirts....it is great. Fits like a regular shirt instead of skin tight like most upf shirts do.

Mine are UPF but O'Neill. Buy the biggest and they are still slightly tight.

I'm in pretty good shape but I got extremely sunburned as a kid and have a lot of freckles all over my shoulders and stuff so kinda insecure taking my shirt off.

I still do tho if I'm swimming. Never understood the swim with shirt on regardless of shape.
