Exactly.

But teachers seem to be contractually obligated to post at least one whine a day for everyone to see on Facebook. They get a week at Thanksgiving, two weeks at Christmas, and the whole summer off, plus two "planning periods" off a day, a lunch break, air conditioning, and a state-guaranteed retirement, but they'd have you believe that it's like working in a mining camp in Siberia. No perspective.

Are you quoting someone?
The post I was responding to read:

quote:

WINE tasters

Hence I wrote: How about "sommeliers"?

From "The Punctuation Guide":

"Quotation marks can be used when referring to a specific word or letter. (Some writers instead use italics for this purpose.)

In the previous sentence, “letter” was properly spelled with two “t”s."

Entitled manual laborers.

Mucho trabajo, poco dinero.

On a related note, I fired one at 645AM today. Hombre tried to OT knucklecheck me. Sometimes I wish I could take a swing, but then I realize I like my paycheck too much.

My mother, both of my in-laws, and my brother and sister in law are all teachers. All of them whine about it, constantly.

Teachers. They get paid for working 8-9 months per year when you add up all the breaks.

Well yea our pay is based on 9 months of employment. You have to choice to be paid in full over 9 months or have it spread out over 12.
