In certain places the parking spot could be sold for more than 100,000.

Ummm.... $100,000. How is this even a question? I never have trouble with parking as it is. At worst I have to walk a couple minutes. No big deal. I couldn't give less of a shite.

I have barely ever paid for parking. Maybe at concerts or football games, but that is at most a couple hundred bucks a year. Plus always take cash upfront. I could die tomorrow..

Does this "best parking" come with a direct route to said spot? Like, if I have spot A1 at tiger stadium, do I have to get there 8 hours early because of traffic?

If it's "best parking spot and direct drive up", parking spot.

I would take the cash no question. Heard this on a radio show and you would not believe how many took the parking. Crazy.

I'd take the free parking, any day, and then sell it.

For Manhattanites who require a set of wheels and a guaranteed place to park it, the cost of the car itself is a mere drop in the bucket when it comes to expenses.

DNAinfo has called the parking space the new "ultimate status symbol."

At least two new condo developments in New York City are charging $1 million for a permanent place to park a single car, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The development 42 Crosby St. is building 10 units in New York's Soho district (which used to be an actual parking lot) and has 10 underground parking spots available on a first-come-first-serve basis for that magically round million-dollar price tag.
