Chemical Engineering is harder than med school, or so I'm told.

Depends on how your mind works

Med school seemed pretty easy to me

Law school would be miserable to me

Engineering = thinking
Med school = memorizing
Law school = reading

You take your pick. I don't have much of a memory, and refuse to read anything. Option A was my choice

I would have to imagine that specializing in surgeries would be pretty difficult, so I'd have to say Med School for the graduate level degrees.

Medical students don't perform surgery - if they're lucky, they'll get to hold a limb for 4 hours straight as an MS3 while the medical team performs the actual operation.

Medical school and residency are two vastly different academic paradigms with very different expectations and requirements.

Nurses do more than just memorize in school and you think that's all med students do?

Well, it gets a lot better. 2L can be a lot of work, especially if you're on journal, but exam prep becomes far more streamlined.

I got into a set study group by end of 1L which made outlining and the like much much easier. Still certainly pulled a lot of late nights and the like, but you adjust quickly.

I remember at Christmas my 1L year, I just wanted to watch TV like a human being again. By 2L year life feels much more normal, at least to me. Went out a lot more too.

I have a BS in engineering and a law degree. There is no question that the engineering degree was more difficult.

Depends on the person, for me I think law school would be the hardest cause I'm not an efficient reader and the sheer amount would overwhelm me.

I would say law school is definitely the least difficult but that is from my own point of view. The thinking needed for law school just comes more naturally for me. Rather than say med school, having to memorize copious amounts of information and then regurgitate it.
Also I've been interested in Law my entire life and never had any notion of going into the other fields. Its based largely on the way you think and how hard you are willing to work.

Meh, that's just a one-word summation of each one

I have a buddy who was a 4.0 ChemE student, and is having a hard time in med school, and I know a chick who had a hard time in Civil, but med school isn't too tough for her

It's a terrible summation.
