agreed, but if the races were reversed I'd bet there would be more outrage and a call for it to be prosecuted as a hate crime

It's only a outcry from blacks when cops don't get charged for murder. They wants cops to go to jail for murder just like blacks get charged for.

Absolutely.

That a white guy killing any black guy with even an insinuation of racism would be national news, while a black guy killing a white person for a few bucks or a cell phone is barely news at all, is pathetic.

Is it possible maybe to be outraged over both?

Boom..... Al Sharpton won't comment on anything like that. Just when it's the other way around. Now... If the national media had any balls they would bring up what the difference is in the two crimes.

Call me what you what but still, at the very crux of this whole thing it is a white person attacking (in this case killing) a black individual.

As someone alluded to, if the cop was black, this may hit the BR morning news and nothing more.

The outrage isn't over the victim. The outrage is over who did the killing.

We expect criminal tpos to do bad things. Not the police. Or at least we shouldn't.

This was blue on black that's the issue here and it's been the issue for the longest it's all coming to light bc of technology. It just so happens that majority of the cops are white. They are patrolling and policing a group of people that they have no connection with. Socio-economics play a big role. It's hard for a white man to understand the plight of the black man and it's hard for a black man to understand the plight of a white man.

Do you care that a black thug killed a white chick just trying to do her job???? It doesn't look like it...

I totally understand the blue on black narrative. Do you think that particular shades of blue do not matter in these cases?

Idgaf what color the police are. Their job is to serve and protect. They are supposed to apprehend suspects and bring them to trial (not justice). I hear a lot about the 2nd amendment but what about the 6th?

Only as a last resort to save lives should a life be taken.

Dude, a cop was just shot dead an hour down the road. I guess these guys should take the chance of being dead while a felon is resisting arrest.

She was a cute girl - hard working too. That story sucks so much more than the Alton Brown shooting.

absolutely it does. They will not comment on this because it blows their narrative out of the water.
They need something to talk about.

In general, white people are expected to answer for the crimes of police on black people. This even applies to some cases where the cops aren't all white. A SJW or academic would probably defend this by saying that white people create and control the power structures, and therefore even minority actors within the power apparatus are just acting on behalf of white America.

Black people, in general, are not asked to provide any input on the violence committed by other black people.

Do you care that a lot of the people being paid to uphold the law are acting no differently than the "black thug [that] killed a white chick"?
