Anything near the West/North West side that's worth stopping at?

Should I just google the closest Dairy Queen? Should I tell everyone to STFU and step into a slim jim?

TIA.

Been on the lake several times. I don't recall many places around there to eat. I'd bring your own food.

Port au Prince. Its fairly new and really good catfish/steak/shrimp. Be warned though that is all they serve.

On the west side, Big Pines Lodge north of Karnack is good. It's not the only one, but it's the only one I've been to.

Are you sure? There's a fairly new one on Cross Lake (as well as the original on Lake Claiborne). I couldn't find any mention of one on Caddo Lake.

Correct. Port A Prince is on both Cross Lake and Lake Claiborne.

But Caddo Lake does have a very similar place that is pretty solid. Its the only restaurant on the lake
