I just assumed the person filming was showing off how bad arse they were at freeze tag. They got everybody.

Just a little piece of history. Back in the 70s and 80s, when a big screen was a 19" tube tv, most TV shows froze the scene at the end of the show and ran the credits. Well there was this fantastic comedy called Police Squad in the early 80s. The actors would just freeze at the end when the credits ran. It was quite funny. There was always someone or something moving in the background.

Was this where it originated? I doubt it, but it is the first time I remember seeing it.
