When you scrape plaque off your teeth with your fingernail, do you eat it or wipe it?

You know, the white crud after eating some candy.
When you feel it covering your teeth and you eventually use your fingernail to scrape some off. With that plaque now on your finger, do you eat it, or do you rub it on a napkin or cloth?
Just want to know.

If you brush, floss, etc often you shouldn't have to worry about plaque. I don't think it forms right after you eat food. That's just residue.

Yep bacteria. It's not the same as a coating of sugar or whatever after you eat sweets. That stuff you can just wipe off with a napkin if you don't have a toothbrush available.

I don't put my fingers in my mouth, much less scrape my teeth with fricking finger nails. I brush them.
