I didn't cost you shite.

I fill up my truck every day, so 1.80ish gas is a life saver.

No I am an Electrical Engineer (RF/Test and Validation) not begging baws to pay more for a resource so you can continue to fund your bad decisions.

I work in the industry and have been laid off before. Shitting on people enjoying the cheap gas is stupid. If you don't like the volatility of the business you work in, go work in another industry.

Interviewed with a completions/geophysics startup yesterday. While the price may still be lingering, jobs are certainly picking up. I'll be slanging seismic in the very near future it seems.

Why would they have since discovered billions of barrels of oil in newly discovered oil sands across the globe and are now able to process the oil sands much cheaper. Oil will be in an oversupply for decades.

congrats

yea I have been getting calls since feb.

but I am waiting for my buddy to hire me. I never used people I know to get a job. I like getting them on my own, but having a best friend as my boss will let me sleep easier at night. we have worked together before so he knows what I bring to the table.

Truth hurts sometimes buddy.

If it was easy, those 40k would be almost 3/4 the way out of trade / college with a new skill set.

If most (keyword most NOT ALL) would of not overspent or over budgeted themselves knowing that they are in a cyclical industry, you wouldn't have such a nuclear fallout.

It's because for a decent majority, a lot of them do not posses a critical thinking / problem solving equivalent to earn a degree that is on par with the pay the oil field paid them.

yesterday I met with the entire G&G team at a startup close by. The G&G team comprised of 1 BS in Mechanical, 1 MS Geophysicist and 7 PhD Geophysicists.

Socialism is ok with oilmoneytrucker.

Lets all pay more than market.

Brotherly love.

Ok. And we get low cost medical thru Medicare for all and there are twice as many MDs making only $125k on average but no school bills for state schools. they have way less debt upon graduation.

Sounds ok to me.
PS. Ive got mine but ive got your back. Im comfortably wealthy. We are paying $2.90 in rural mt. Norcal.
Personal aside:
My damn propane bill skyrocketed, fwiw. Whats up with that?@! Its not a cold winter.

Damn Dave, your my new hero of the OT. That's a very impressive resume and I can't imagine what pay that you could demand with that resume.

Okay so clearly you are NOT one of the people im talking about.

Either you lack reading comprehension or just choose to be upset about something you think is in reference to you.
