In addition to what others have said, I have yet to read the whole thread so maybe it came up already, but I want to say I heard or read somewhere that the fact that as a society we are in "learning mode" longer now in the pursuit of college and advanced degrees it's effecting maturity. Basically saying that longer immaturity is due to having to be educated well into your 20s.

b/c that's abrasive and gives the lulz
It either results in triggering or a sort of destupefying effect on the less progressive.

I'm confused. This seems to read like you're agreeing with the OP. Am I reading it wrong?
no
OP is complaining that there are no more traditional males
there aren't, b/c they've been socialized out of the country by radical feminism
the modern youthful male is typically either a feminized beta or a nihilist who feels left out of society
the nihilists are the ones the OP is speaking of

Same reason a white guy can't have any valid opinion in topics of race. Doesn't matter how much sense you make, you need to just check your privilege and shut up.

The OT's thought of what marriage looks like is really funny.

what's funny is trying to explain this to older progs who have no idea what the internet is like. i mean, i'm very old to have an insight into this stuff (and i'm largely ignorant of the actual behaviors and only know about them second hand)

Do you have any tangible proof of this?

I think he was including kids in that scenario

Seeing/hearing some of the shite in action on and around campus gives me the biggest of lulz.

with race, the "go to" rhetoric tactic is to go subjective and use the E-word (empathy)
you can craft the most rational, objective, and correct argument
but they will just say "have you ever lived as a [race] person? if not then you have no idea what i've gone through"
go watch the exchange b/w Sam Harris and Hannibal Burress. it is a fricking doctoral thesis of cringe

It is unfortunate that we do not have a system of incentives and institutions that make being a father a more attractive notion than perpetual bachelorhood.
There is a major problem brewing in this country and few people seem to be taking notice. Children being born to single mothers gas ticked up from a rate standpoint, but it pales in comparison to the precipitous decline of children being born to two-parent households. The right people are not having children anywhere near the rate they used to do so.
I take a different approach than many who want to blame it on the acceptance of "alternative" lifestyles. That is a secondary issue. The real concern is how we can incentivize the right people to have more children. That wasn't always a problem.

I don't deny that the situation does happen. But I don't see it as the norm, and it's something you can control when looking for a spouse. I'd never marry someone that didn't have a healthy sex drive, and I think it's pretty easy to tell who does and doesn't possess that.

I only have a 6 week old, so I can't comment on that too much. But my wife and I have gone out of our way to make sure we still have "us" time, which includes sexual things. Like most other things in a marriage, you have to both want to work on it to make it work.

People are getting married later in life. That in itself is gonna decline the amount of children born.

I think the nihilists are overstating the problem. For example, I don't see how they can reconcile their stance with a Trump victory. Hell, that might be the most crushing defeat of feminism in the history of the US.
ETA: Overstating the problem with respect to reality, not perception in the media and what not.

This begs the question, why are people getting married later in life?
How much of it is due to cultural/societal norms and pressures, and how much is due to economic factors, I'm not sure.
