No lie, wanna give me a ride?

Most of those people were either assholes, just shite drivers, or very creepy. I've probably gotten 100 rides, so I guess it averages out. I did take the hose at the bar and wash the puke off of that one guy's car.

I still wish the rating system would have 3 as average and 5 as excellent, but whatever. It's not like I care what their ratings are anyway

I have a 5.0. I have maybe called an Uber three to five times in my life.

Puked outside the window, but on the car
Spilled a full drink on the console
Chewed out a guy for the entire ride because he was honking the horn for me to walk down the block
Made that same guy wait 20 minutes while I was getting a drink the next time he picked me up
Made fun of one creepy arse dude because he was using his mom's van and started throwing a bunch of his magazines out the window (car was fricking stacked with magazines)
Tried to make out with this driver chick that was nasty, but I didn't know it at the time
Fallen asleep in the car
Changed routes mid-way

and they are the assholes?

2nd guy was a dangerous driver, so I spilled my drink
3rd/4th guy was an a-hole
5th guy was pretty rapey and his mom's van was chock full of shite. I couldn't even sit in it

I've still got a 4.something. Don't hate the player, hate the game

Sounds like you get black out drunk when you request an UBER. The van situation was

I've rode with a lot of creepers/hipsterish types in Seattle. I've found that riding with LYFT is way cheaper. I've prolly saved $200 this month alone using them.

Yeah, I'm not requesting a driver when I'm sober. I can get anywhere I need to in my truck, and park relatively close where I need to go, so getting a ride from Uber isn't something I ever use when I'm sober.

Lyft and Uber are the same drivers here. They usually run both apps and take first available, but they have all told me that they prefer driving for Lyft. I have had a few drivers using Uber have their phones freeze up while running the app, and they said it happens enough to be annoying. Plus, the tip situation is much better with Lyft since you can use your CC to do it

I got the big 5.0. My wife has a 5.0 too, which is what we normally use.

I practice that as well. I don't think I've ever used UBER or LYFT sober. Not to mention you can pre funk a little, and have some parking lot beers before going out.

The next day I pick my truck up and avoid contact with the cops, or worry about DUI checkpoints. We don't have checkpoints here in Seattle, but I remember them quite well while living in BR.

Using UBER always feels like money well spent and is convenient af. You can even dispute routes that the driver took which subsequently led to a higher fare. They usually refund you the difference via email notification.

5.0

Our primary route is 3 miles from the house to a wine bar/restaurant. Uber X.

That is the reason why, I, as a driver, always use Google Maps. If there is any complaint I can tell Uber I used navigation recommended as part of their app.

But I will sometimes get a jackass that knows it all and want to go his way.

Remember, UberX is for a convenient, cheap, hassle free ride. If you want luxury and amenities, order yourself a limousine.

I'm always substance over luxury when it comes to transportation alternatives. That's why I always use UBER when I go out on the weekends. I've been overcharged multiple times and always dispute accordingly, and always win. I've been running into a lot of hipster drivers that are weird. They don't talk and have a pompous heir about them. If I could change that aspect of UBER, I would.

Ways of the past. I stopped drinking and driving when Uber became available. It's just 1000x easier and not as dangerous to anyone else. I click a button on my phone, and $7 and 10 minutes later, I'm where I wanted to go

As a driver, one thing I would change about Uber, among many things, is the entitled attitude some passengers have. I'd say about 10% of passengers have an entitled heir about them.

For instance, I had a chick I picked up and she asked if i had a charger for her iPhone. I said no, I use Android. She got pissed and said that I should carry a selection of phone chargers for riders.

I'm giving this bitch a ride that I will make about $5 , WTF do they expect?

But most passengers are pretty reasonable, but the entitled ones grate on my nerves.
