Couple dope rip offs back in the Era of the Rip Off (roughly 1969-1972). No violence or guns involved, chalk it up as a cost of doing business.

Some Mexicans stole my trophy belt buckles in Texas.

Also had a trophy saddle stolen off my horse at Farr Park at a rodeo hosted by Southern University

How were you able to carry a personal firearm? I was in a unit that was way more let's say flexible than others and we couldn't do that.

Someone took my grandfathers Walther 308 he gave to me in his will out of my truck. I was going to the range. Invaluable in my mind. He was a diamond buyer, and had this in his briefcase everywhere he went.

Had my house broken into. Few things taken but one item was my deceased father's shotgun. Cost of gun: priceless to me. Bad guy was never found.

The people that had their house broken into.... Did you have an alarm system installed? Just figure they aren't as useful as people make them out to be

An audible alarm is best. They may still kick your door in and grab a TV or two but they won't hang around and pick through all your stuff
