That class made me realize that I didn't really want to be an engineer.

Anatomy. It was known across campus as the hardest 3 credit course due to the amount of studying you had to do. The a-hole professor bragged about the fact that he made it difficult for Pre-med students even though it was a general prerequisite for Bio and Chem students

Medical/surgical nursing II.

Every single multiple choice answer for every question was correct.

Except...

One answer was "more correct" than the others and of course if you didn't choose that answer, you were wrong. Real pain in the arse that course.

Astronomy sure seemed a lot harder than it needed to be.

Whoever came up with the "choose the MOST correct answer" testing format can get fricked

Graph theory. I never did catch on to that stuff. I had to memorize 17 full page proofs in order to pass the final exam.

You only had one class like that?

ETA: Don't mean that as a smartass question. I thought all the upper level nursing classes were like that

Circuits I

Prof was trying to weed out students. He actually had an unsolvable question on one exam. When called on it, he said we could've added a resistor and then taken the limit on it to solve.

We were pissed! Who knew you could just change test questions?

I encountered a difficult transistor in another course two years later and thought, what the heck? So I added a resistor, took the limit and got the question right. Prof (not the same guy) said smart move. My buddies were not impressed. Girls hold grudges lol
