I sent my little girl to a summer "camp" last year and it didn't turn out great. She hated it. It was basically a daycare at a school. She didn't know anyone but 2 cousins. Not very close cousins either.

This summer, we are going to pay someone to watch her at home. She's 6.

What's the going rate these days? What do you pay your sitters?

Mind that it'll just be 10 days a month. 5 days until 430 and 5 days until about 1-2 pm.

I will tell you as soon as you tell me how you are one of 2 or 3 people here that have a working GIF as your profile pic.

Always wondered about that.

$230-250/month seems about reasonable

What time in the morning will they need to be there?

Depends on the quality of the sitter. Some just play with kids while others do light cleaning, making lunch for the kids, outings, etc. Basic goes for around 10hr. But the quality ones are usually 12hr.

Grandfathered in. Been having this one for a long time and before the gif avatar ban.

I never post on the poli board. Assuming they have different admin. That savage took it down and told me to change my avatar.

The fry cook at McD's wants $15/hour. Keeping your kids should be worth at least that.
