This to me is the key to golf.

The lower your handicap, the more forward your hands are at impact and your divot is way ahead of the golf ball.

What is the best way to get to this impact position?

picture on the left is how you are supposed to strike the ball yet almost no one actually does it propertly.

divot in front is how you recognize a player and someone who has used to loft of the club effectively.

Flat left wrist is what separates the players from everyone else.

That is so ugly, my god.

Do you not have a club pro who gives better hands-on advice than the OT?

Exaggerate the movement with knock down 8 irons with the ball closer to your back foot. If you can get yourself on video while you do it even better. Try to hit 100 yd shots with that club that go no higher than 20 feet.

If you practice with bad form, you make yourself worse and ingrain terrible habits.

It's considered the closest to a perfect golf swing anyone has ever gotten:

first things first...work off of a tee with a low iron (pref. 8 or 9)

second - remember anything you do before impact does not mean you will hit the ball with forward face
lean (correct impact position)

third - while learning to impact the ball correctly; if your backswing passes parallel, you are swinging with too much force!!!!

fourth - exaggerate the follow through with your hands in front of the club face

I'm looking for a good video to show the drill I'm talking about.

Have you ever hit this?

This looks like it will get you on the right track.

DST golf makes one that is supposedly just as good.
