First time in the mountains at 12,000'. The smell of the air through the Aspens.

I've been on most of the 10'000 plus peaks in Colorado that are easily accessible. There ain't shite above 11'000 feet but tundra and rocks.
There might be an aspen that grows at 12'000 feet somewhere, but they sure aren't tall enough or enough of them for you to smell the wind blowing through them.

I love the smell of hay cut and cured under perfect conditions.
