What’s the best site for finding a new job?

I’ve used LinkedIn in the past for networking but now it’s just different. I’ve been using Indeed recently but it seems to be a slower process. I had an online interview and it went well, they said they had more interviews to conduct but would bring me in for a in person interview next week (which was last week). Then I received messages about other positions that I applied for, but they are moving slowly. I’m just trying to be patient. Do any of you have any suggestions or have success with other job sites?

Do Both. Try to do research on the hr dept. find a way to contact them coming from you not the site. Even say “ I want you to know that I applied for the position through whatever site” Don’t be demanding because let them see your name again.

Use indeed to see who is hiring and reach out to the office directly.

LinkedIn is annoying and sucks but it’s probably your best bet. That’s where my last few companies have focused the vast majority of recruiting focus.

Thanks for your input. Will definitely try that approach.

Networking is your best friend moving forward. Make relationships with clients/coworkers/supervisors, keep your friends close because some of them do move up rapidly, don’t burn any bridges when leaving. I’ve got multiple referrals from my managers at previous jobs that give me leverage that I insist the prospective employer calls.

What areas are you looking to be in/around? I may need a new field specialist soon.

Serious answer would be to reach out to companies in the industry you work in directly. Looking them up on the internet, finding a contact, emailing or calling them to express interest. A huge shortfall in qualified candidates these days and if you’re worth a sniff they’ll hear you out. Not saying you walk in unannounced, but direct contact with a decision maker may be more fruitful then going through HR.

I use LinkedIn and Indeed. I find top brass love LI mainly for customer networking and Marketing, but talent acquisition is definitely high.

Thank Heavens. It came to me in a vision yesterday while on peyote that this thread would come about, and that the end of the world was imminent had that, onlyfans, not been the very first response. We all owe you a debt of gratitude. I’m not ready to go quite yet. There’s still sex drugs and rock n roll to do.

I've gotten my last 2 jobs from LinkedIn. My last one pays very very well. I was against having one but it's been the reason I can support myself so I'm all for it.

You can’t walk next door to Burger King and fill out a paper application?
