Do you go traditional candy or something else?
In the past I have gone overboard with electronics or toys. This year we are going back to just candy. Mainly bc I forgot the rabbit was coming this weekend. The only downside is that my kids are like dogs and don't know when to quit eating.

What I used to be happy with at Christmas

Chocolate bunny
A little assorted Easter candy
Gift cards
Those better than tangerine "cuties"
& usually some sort of clothing accessory.

A mix. I was thinking of throwing some art supplies in there. Maybe tools for the boy. Whatever I can get at Walgreens

Mine is always plants.
Peppers, basil, Rosemary, oregano, parsley, cilantro & this year adding some mint for making mohitos.
I am incompetent with tomatoes. They always die or the squirrels gnaw them.
& gourmet olives for martinis & pickled okra and beans for bloody Mary's.

My kids are older. They're downstairs filling plastic Easter eggs with jello shots.

Assorted candy, traditional chocolate rabbit, and play doh. Didn't go over board this yr because I've got 6 chicks hidding in my shop. I can't wait to see my 3 yr olds face tomorrow morning!

What! I used to get those as a kid. Sometimes ducks.
I hope you have big yard with a fence bc chickens prefer to shite in the shade, usually on concrete.

Haha Yes I have 4 acres and its all yard!!! I hate the keep but it's great for the kiddos. I've been working on a mobile coupe instead of just a chicken yard. I grew up with those at my grandprents and they were always a mess

Chicken tractors. I can help with that. What ya got so far?

10x5x6 Kennel. Will run chicken wire a few feet at the bottom and wire in the top. I'm thinking I can frame out the laying boxes with 2x2's and use thin sheet metal to close it in. I'm trying to keep them light weight to mount them inside.

Very little candy, maybe some books/coloring books, an outfit, bubbles.
They get so much candy at their school parties and their grandmas.

I used to make a trail from each of their beds with these
that led to their Easter baskets.
one rule of life: there is always ONE child that hoards their easter candy while the other kids beg him for some candy 6 days after Easter. This child always does this I think just to tick the others off.

Here are some tricks I learned. The watering bucket should be hung or they will shite all in it. PGC pipe with a lengthwise cut out and mounted to the side up a few inches is great for feed. Again; shite issues if you use a pan. We had a pull up door at the top. open to show laying "boxes" that were really just plastic buckets laid on their sides with holes in the top for egg grabbing. The buckets also made for easy cleaning. shite; they even shite when they sleep and lay eggs? Take the bucket out, dump pine straw, replace and put back.
Wheels. Good luck on something that big. You're gonna need some wide ones. We also put nice big handles on the front for easy moving.

Thanks for the tips SD, very much appreciated! Yea, I forgot, I fed have wheels to mount! The buckets are a great idea, I'll give that a go.

One more thing. We didn't have a rooster; but I know a guy. So I bought an incubator from tractor supply (80$) with egg turner.
Talk about blow the kids away! They loved watching them hatch.
