What's an acceptable time to start mowing on a Saturday?

I've never lived in a neighborhood before a few weeks ago. I usually mow after work during the week. I'm home this weekend and I'm bored as chit right now. Is 8 too early to start? I don't want to be the guy who wakes everybody up. I'd have started mowing at 6 otherwise.

I just changed the oil, cleaned carb, and sharpened my mower blade so I'm itching to try it out.

Start when the dew dries. If you cut it wet you get a shitty cut. Wash your house at daylight.

Friend,

While I do not mind if you mow at sunrise, Uncle taught me the standard for public noise is 8:30 on weekdays and 10:00 on Saturday. As Sunday is the Sabbath, you should be in church that morning.

Yours,

When it’s really hot, 6:00 am is acceptable. You shouldn’t worry about peoples’ feelings when the weather could bring heatstroke. Plus you’re most likely to bother liberals as they usually sleep later.

According to my neighbors yard crew that mows her grass 2x a week, 6 am is an acceptable time.

Man, I'd never do anything like that before 10:30 or 11:00. Whole lot of people in this thread running on old man time.
