That's how they decided.

I was second to last and usually prefer being last bc I like to wait outside instead of cramped up airplane.

Depends what altitude you're at. Usually the cabin altitude is kept below the 8k feet so if you are above that, it will will be extremely difficult to open due to pressurization difference.if you're below you can open it no problem and no you won't get sucked out.

But let's say it did happen. You will pass out really quick without oxygen

The plane he was in had an exit ramp in the tail. After that episode, a device was added to keep the exit ramps on that model airplain (727?) from opening in flight.

The one guy probably goes flying.

Everyone hears an incredibly loud sound then passes out from lack of O2. Hopefully the pilots make an emergency altitude drop to restore oxygen before people die.

They have a couple minutes to react and drop altitude before everyone dies from deocompression.

He had instructed the crew to keep the plane below 10,000 feet and to not pressurize the cabin.
