re: what were your favorite clothing brands growing up

Hollister and American Eagle when I was in high school.

I was really husky until my sophmore year of college and bought jeans from The Buckle a lot. Just jeans though, never bought those douchy looking t-shirts.

I also used to spike my hair (forgive me, I'm from Lafayette), although you hardly ever see that look around there anymore.
