Funny that someone would ask about Thunderbird Beach as I was thinking about it myself a few nights ago. Always had a great time enjoyed going as I was a kid. Now Im 2342 miles away living in central Montana and could definitely use a memory lane time down at Thunderbird Beach.

For decades, it was a beach along the Denham Springs side of the Amite River. The vast majority of it was turned into a wealthy neighborhood back in the 1990s. A tiny portion of it survives as Tiki Tubing.
