Something about how safe water parks are and there's no need to open carry????

quote:

A complaint that a man was watching children through binoculars while fondling himself on Tuesday led to the arrest of a Pineville sex offender, according to police. The Pineville Police Department received the complaint at 1:30 p.m. from the newly opened Kees Park splash pad in the 2400 block of La. Highway 28 East.

The complainant stated that the man was watching children from the other side of the property, reads the department's release.

Ortego was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center, charged with unlawful presence of a violent sexual predator and failure to register as sex offender.

I can barely watch a buck through a rifle scope with the heavy breathing that accompanies buck fever. How the hell was this guy stroking it while holding binoculars one handed?

So you're going to light him up for watching your kid through binoculars. Civilized people call the cops instead.

I think he was referring to the insecure nature of public spaces and some poster's claim that there is no need for protection in such places.

No, but when he approaches me or my children (or other children) and I'm forced to deal with him directly before the police get there, I'm not going to be unarmed.

He was sentenced to serve 10 years at hard labor. In 2012, he was arrested on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender, which is a felony. But the charge was reduced to a misdemeanor count of having no driver's license in his possession after he pleaded guilty, according to clerk of court records. He was sentenced to serve five days in parish prison with credit for time served. In 2014, he pleaded no contest in Rapides Parish to failure to register as a sex offender after two arrests — one in April 2012 and one in July 2013 — on that same charge. He was sentenced to serve two years at hard labor.

Walking over to shoot the guy is what he deserves. He's a serial sex offender.

Jail did him no good first first couple of times.

Hang on bro. You can't just kill a man for watching kids.

What would open carry in your speedo have done to prevent this?
