What to do with a FedEx package I received to my address addressed to a name I don't know

The address is correct, but the name I've never heard before. As far as FedEx is concerned it has been delivered to the correct address. It is a letter type, cardboard envelope that was sent overnight.

Do I open it? Spend no telling how long trying to get in touch with FedEx? I've never had this happen before.

Return to sender; wrong address.

Drop it in a FedEx box or dropoff

No indication of who it came from? iOS just refuse it and have FedEx pick it back up, or drop it in one of their boxes indicating the address is incorrect

It is not legal to open mail that is not addressed to you. I would see if you can tell who the sender is and contact them.

You can just say you didn't notice the wrong name until after you opened it, amigo

Yes. He ordered a letter and mistakenly used the wrong name when checking out.

It is from "Returns Processing Center 4801 Mercantile Dr. Ft. Worth, TX".

Comes back as a Verizon address. Guess I'll try to find a damn drop box or something.

Open it up, see what it is. Could be a clerical error. Could be info inside that may reveal more.

Could be something fun
