Will be in town later this week for work. Any recommendations while in town? Best places to eat?
TIA

Wendy's, Burger King, Applebees, Chili's, and Texas Roadhouse.
For fine dining I'd suggest Portico's or Beau Vines Steakhouse.

Visit the Lincoln Parish Museum and Historical Society and get a turn of the century experience of historic Lincoln Parish.

Go down to the next exit at Grambling and see the Historic Eddie Robinson Field as well.

And get a $4.00 pizza from Johnny's. And then go to the CITGO for diarrhea.

Portico is all right. Ruston is a pretty nice town to live in, but there just isn't a whole lot to offer visitors.

I was born in 72 and I remember griffs around the age of 7..so its been there in the same building right next to campus since 1979. I guess drunk college kids have kept that nasty place afloat for 35 years

Depends on what you want to eat OP, best burger in town go to the Dog House. Sushi go to RAW, BBQ go to Brister's, a good steak Beau Vines or Log Cabin, good mexican got to La Bomba/La Familia/EL Jarrito. Landry's and Scott's are decent buffet style seafood. Portico is ok, other than that some chains.

A friend of mine's dad proposed to his wife in Griff's. Put her ring in a bag of fries.
