Doesn't count. He was a naturalized citizen who landed in Ohio. You know, as opposed to graduating from our university. You sure it's even the right Columbus?

Don't listen to most of the people in here who have never been there. It is a great city. I have spent a fair amount of time there over the years for work. A few suggestions:

Jack Nicklaus Museum
Buckeye Cafe - a lot of Ohio State sports memorabilia
Columbus Zoo
German Villiage
Walking path along the Olentangi (misspelled)River

Enjoy you time there

While most of these have been good suggestions they are boring. Are you looking for single guy fun or family fun?

If you are here Labor Day weekend, Columbus is having a great music festival, outside in the Arena District called "Fashion Meets Music Fest" Sept 5th & 6th. Should be a great event. 40 band line up includes:

Young The Giant
Ludacris
O.A.R.
AWOLNATION
Taking Back Sunday
St Vincent

and many others.

Columbus, OH is the fastest growing city in the Midwest

You mean it's the one city in the rust belt that isn't declining as fast as other neighboring cities, due to the fact it's a government based employment city and unfortunately the only thing expanding in this country is the government.

Just plain dumb AND wrogn. Columbus is a modern city that is a logistics hub and has a booming health and insurance sector. Youu really need to read get your facts strait. In 1980 Columbus had a city proper population of 564,000. In 2015 Columbus has an estimated city proper popualtion of 835,000. The metro is 2.3 million and growing fast.

Since anyone here has given a damn, probably five. Still puts us at twice what Alabama has. Are we twice the state Alabama is by your inane measurements?

Are we still using electoral votes as a measurement, or can we use something that actually matters.

Ohio's high I think was 26, but we had 25 in 1980, 21 in the 2000s, and we are at 18 now.
