My girl is like this too. House will be spotless before she comes over. She spends the night. I get up before her to go to work.
When I get back to the house that night, no sign of her, bed is not made / total disaster / clothes towel all over the floors.
Water all over the bathroom floor, toothpaste on the mirror.
Kitchen looks like she made herself a 6-course meal for Breakfast with every pot and pan I own in the sink, stove-top covered in stains and just general shite everywhere.
I'm obviously exaggerating quite a bit but holy shite it's like a god damn hurricane ransacked the place.

quote:
The term electrocute was originally coined in 1889¹ by splicing the prefix electro- into the word execute. It originally meant execute (by electric shock). However, its meaning has evolved over time: first to also include accidental death by electric shock and later to include electrical injury,² generally serious in nature. So your use of the word does not fit the original nineteenth century meaning, but is perfectly in line with the broader meaning of the word as it is understood today
you are correct...but for many years it meant "death by electricity" not sure why they would add injure to the meaning

Thank you. Look for something else to piss you off.

Because we needed a word for it.
ETA:
Shocked has other meanings. We needed a new one.

My ability to work from home is being "worked on" today. Cloud servers fine but RDC's are having issues. Much rather work from my PC setup at home.
fricking Mondays.

My bank got bought by a larger one, my new debit card didn't come in, and all the customers who did get their cards weren't able to activate their debit cards as well

i am pissed off that i was wrong
10 years ago or so i won a bet that it meant death by electricity

They probably changed it to piss you off.

i admitted i was wrong...i still think shocked is sufficient though. I don't know electricity but i think ive heard its better to get "shocked" by 220 than 110 because 220 will you knock you off while 110 grabs on to you...guessing 440 will knock you off even more

I've been electrocuted by all 3. 110 does grab you. 220 pushes you off. 440 makes you scream.

I'm just playin'.
Btw, I got shocked the other day installing a dimmer in our master bath. Was listening to basketball game at the same time and ZAP. Arm felt weird as frick for like 5 minutes. I laughed it off, the wife did not.
It was wild how I couldn't let go of the thing shocking me My other arm swatted it away.

Dang. My ex-wife and my current girlfriend are both like that. You clean, the next day, there's shittake everywhere! I'm convinced modern women are just lazy for the most part.
