Let's keep this thread civil. I am asking for those of us who live in BR and still have to go about our daily business. What level of unrest do you expect? 1-10 scale. 1 being civil and organized protest, 10 being overturned cop cars, fires set, main roadways blocked.

I am not trying to stir anything up. Just getting opinions on what to expect. I know none of us know exactly how things will play out, but what do you expect?

FWIW: Jimmy Johns has $1 subs from 4p-8p tomorrow.

ETA: Article referencing supposed Tuesday release.

I expect people to act like human beings, but I also expect disappointment.

Was going to say 1 until I read:

I like the guy in that gif whose response to a car barreling toward him mowing bicyclists down is to immediately pull out his phone to put it on social media instead of getting the frick out of the way of two tons of oncoming death.

I hope he didn't make it.

EDIT: Alas, I think he's the guy right in front of the camera after the jump cut.

I think we all learned in july that BR "citizens" are for the most part all talk and no action. It's the out of towners that cause shite.

I have a feeling most of the action will actually be in other cities like ATL and St. Louis.

It's as good as you're going to get without an official announcement. Make no mistake, though, the OT is the best news source in Baton Rouge.
