What is the point of life if you are always alone?

If you have no S.O., no family and nobody to depend on you, is there really a point to being alive?

If you do everything alone, what's the point in doing things?

Thoughts?

Sounds like you'd have a lot of money, and time to travel.

You can go cool places like bars and trivia night and hipster kickball and crossfit and post selfies while the married family men suffer in misery.

Don't worry, this is not a cry for help. More of a philosophical question.

Traveling starts to suck when you do it alone.

You ever been to the beach alone?

Not that fun.

Deep thread here. But a simple answer is that some folks just like being alone. I don't . But I know some who are and I wonder how they do it. And you don't have to have someone to depend on you to feel good. Just give to certain charities and such.

When you set major goals, you always need to consider who will be there to share it with you. That's what makes reaching a goal meaningful.

Hermits don't seem very happy.

If you die without leaving an SO or offspring behind to remember you, did you ever really live?
