mizzou, I'm honestly not trying to flame or troll. I'm not even sure what your reputation is, other than you start a lot of threads, but who cares.

I guess I'm just a skeptical person by nature. And for my occupation, I am involved with hospitals and their policies. It's not as much about money. I don't doubt he was rich. It's just the way hospitals operate. Rich people would normally be referred to private care. If it was found out that the hospital was housing someone perfectly healthy, their liability carrier would most likely drop them, for opening up the exposure of getting sued for treating a perfectly healthy person.

Just posting this because I've been honest in my replies and find most everything with this story hard to believe. And it has nothing to do with you personally.

For frick's sake

So instead of going stay with your aunt, he decides to get a hospital room to be closer to her?

And you're not addressing any of the other concerns I've posted either.

Fwiw, I believe most likely your grandpa wasn't completely healthy. He was probably sick and having legitimate health issues. He was admitted into the hospital because he was sick. That's why he wasn't always responsive. He eventually died. Either your family embellished the story so that you wouldn't worry, or think he died in pain. Or your mind, over the years, has simply made you believe this to help you with your fond memories.

Or you lie.

One time this douchebag Mizzou fan and his family came into a bar off Broadway in Nashville after the Mizz-Vandy game.

He was a real prick and despite my girlfriend and I trying to talk football (we are both OSU fans) and offering him shots to welcome him to Nashville, he moped and rolled his eyes at us.

Anyway, everyone else in the bar picked up on this clown's act, so we started an OH-IO chant and bought the bar shots, excluding his table. It was a great showing of complete strangers coming together and trolling a stuck-up, douche, Missouri fan.
