This looks like a sitcom script if you reverse it.

They get so emotional when you threaten to put them back in their cage and shorten their chain. They make no sense at all.

I once dated a woman who worked for a domestic violence group. Saw a poster very much like that. It was all 'when HE does this, when HE says that', etc. Totally one-sided although between 5-15% of domestic abuse is female-on-male.

Did you act like a man? That could have been abuse, apparently

The problem is that the dialogue can't occur because some entities think that discussing or critiquing the "message" is akin to condoning abuse.

It's the same with rape. It's the same reason you can't go on tv and say "listen, we all know the idea that 1/4 women in college experiences sexual assault is ridiculous" even though it is laughable.

Abuse (and rape) are obviously very real problems, but it's just bizarre that any discussion from the male side is viewed as trying to discredit their existence as a problem.

Yeah, you can't question the narrative. I asked her if they had any facilities for men who are being abused. {They don't). So, I asked 'What do you tell them, to stay with a friend'? She said yes, so I asked if they would EVER tell a woman that. Nope.

Why are you being so stupid about this?

The things on the poster do not constitute abuse. They are ways abusers manipulate abused women into staying with them

It's these behaviors coupled with physical violence that's the problem. Anyone who doesn't condemn wife beaters and rapists is trash
