No, there is nothing wrong with true equality. It is well known that left wing companies like nike do not believe in true equality.

Straw man.

The point is that these banners attempt to suggest "inequality" where there is in fact none.

Why don't they bring all of those jobs that they outsource overseas back here and spread even more equality around with the American people?

Yeah. If they really value equality they'd at least pay their slave labor in Asian counties a minimal wage equal to that in the United State.

They don't bother me, but then again I don't get my feelings hurt by every little thing.

I guess the safety pin wearers who came up with this don't care about Chinese slave labor.

Nope. But we already have it. Name one legal right that some have that others don't. Just one. I'd really love to see you answer with anything other than the wage gap myth.

I can name one though. Affirmative action.

Furthermore, Nike is running an ad saying hey we are for equality! How inclusive are we! Everyone else is already for this. There isn't a culture of people out there saying man I really hope ______ has a down year in '17. Except for, wait for it, Nike. "Equality has no boundaries" except if you live within the boundaries of Indonesia and work at a sweat shop.

Clay Travis has a good take on this Nike "Equality" ad campaign

quote:

-- the average Indonesian Nike worker makes 1/76th of what an American factory worker would make doing the same job. But don't you think it's a bit hypocritical for the company's new tag line to be "If we can be equals in sport, we can be equals everywhere," while treating the people who make your products unequally? The main message of the new Nike ad, which you can watch here, is "Equality should have no boundaries." (Presumably Nike means only boundaries within the United States only since they are violating their own rule once you leave the boundaries of our country.)

It's no longer about equality, it's about equity. Any person through hard work can get anywhere they want.

Nike uses child and slave labor

Nike under ships the new Jordans to inner city stores to cause ruckus and even more hype for their shoes.

And Phil Knight is going to eat one huge Karma sandwich for the shite he's pulled as leader of Nike.
