What could be wrong with my knee?

I know it's hard to say by reading, but I'm having trouble bending my knee.
The pain is on the lower, outside part of my knee. Doesn't hurt to bend down to sit, as long as I don't fold the lower part of my let back. It also doesn't hurt if I take my leg and turn it sideways (like I'd be folding my leg and placing it under my other knee). Hurts like all hell to bend the bottom part of my leg back (bringing my foot towards my arse). If I take my foot and try to bring it up I can't freely move without severe pain.
I had knee surgery on a torn manicus on that knee when I was 15 (15 years ago). Haven't had any trouble with it sense. It hurts every once in a while, but it's very minor. Also when I sleep sometimes and I guess keep it in one poisition all night it's stiff in the AM, but once I bend it it is back to normal.
Also played football in the back yard yesterday, which is when it really started hurting like this. Didn't notice one particular moment it started to hurt.
Does it sound like the same meniscus issue? Should I be trying to force it to bend more, or keep the weight off of it?

I aggravated mine while banging a girl doggystyle and giving 100%. Just happens as we get older.

Do you have health insurance? Go to an Ortho specialist.

Well I get that. Most people around the age of 30 don't struggle to walk though. I've played football tons of times and paid the price with soreness for a few days after. This isn't soreness though.

If you played football, go ahead and add 15-30 years to your knee life.

Sounds like it could be meniscus. Any popping/clicking/ locking?

Sounds like Patellar Tendonitis aka jumpers knee. Is the pain right below the knee cap?

No popping that I can feel. I wouldn't say it's locked, but extremely stiff.

Meniscus. I tore my lateral meniscus last year and have similar problems. You aggravated the old injury.

Probably fluid in your knee. I had the same type of surgery over 20 years ago. My knee still hurt over the years heard a nice little pop earlier this year. Went to see the doc and found out had a torn acl. Go see a doc just for a check up on your knee if nothing else
